Definition under MD Code Title §19:101.d (j) Security guard - "Security guard" means an individual who provides security guard services to any person on behalf of a security guard agency, regardless of whether the individual is described as a security guard, watchman, or private patrolman or by other title.
This course prepares the individual seeking license as a private security officer in the state of Maryland. There are qualifications and requirements that must be met under state code. This course covers the entry level lessons of private security to include a comprehensive instruction of the law which applies to security guard certification in the state of Maryland.
