Before any contract security guard can work on a DHS contract, they must have required training and meet federal and state qualifications. This training is required and specific in its entirety as it is in the best interest of the Government.
This course is designed to fulfill the training requirements set by the Department of Homeland Security for personnel seeking positions as security officers on US Coast Guard facilities. This is an intense course of instructions which upon successful completion, allows an individual to pursue a position on the security guard force.
